Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Brown meatballs on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer meatballs to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.

  • Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
  • You can substitute ground turkey for beef.
  • Freeze uncooked meatballs for later use.
