4 tips to make burnt pots and pans look like new again

2. Potato and salt
As strange as it may sound, the combination of a potato and some coarse salt is very effective in restoring a burnt pan.

Rinse the burnt pan and sprinkle it with coarse salt. Halve a potato and rub the pan with it for a few minutes.

Finally, rinse and repeat the application if necessary.

3. Coarse salt and aluminum foil
The trick with coarse salt and aluminum foil is one of the most effective methods to save burnt pans, especially those made of iron, which are more sensitive to water.

Rub a tablespoon of coarse salt onto the surface of the pan, then form a ball of aluminum foil inside it and rub it over the burnt areas. After a few minutes, the foil ball will be black.

Finally, wash the pan as usual.

4. Baking powder and lemon.
Both ingredients have degreasing and slightly abrasive properties that help to remove burnt-on food residue from the surface of the pan.

Sprinkle 20 grams of baking powder into the pan and then rub it with half a lemon. Finally, rinse it thoroughly with water.

Now that you know how to save a burnt pan, before you throw it away, try applying one of the four tips described above to make it look like new again.
