One of the main culprits of premature aging is well known: the sun. Its UV rays alter the skin’s structure, cause wrinkles, and promote the appearance of age spots. Whether in the city or at the beach, use sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30, even in winter.
And for even skin tone, avoid prolonged sun exposure between noon and 4 p.m. and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you go outside.
Add some youth to your plate.
The secret to radiant skin isn’t just in jars of cream. It’s also reflected in what you eat. Antioxidants, found in berries, carrots, spinach, avocados, and green tea, combat the free radicals responsible for cellular aging.
Also consider omega-3 fatty acids (flaxseed oil, oily fish, chia seeds), which are excellent for skin elasticity, and zinc, which aids in regeneration. A natural yogurt is also a great addition.
