Controlling the Amount of Oil to Use
When preparing a recipe that only calls for a drizzle of oil, it can sometimes be difficult to control the amount poured from the bottle. As a result, you often end up using more than necessary. But thanks to the plastic tab located inside the bottle, below the cap, this problem is quickly solved.
The small ring partially blocks the bottle’s spout, making it easier to control the amount of oil poured. This way, you can pour without spilling a single drop. Pretty handy, right?
However, be careful not to press the tab too hard, as this could push it further into the bottle. Simply press gently and lightly.
