No sugar, no oven! An ultra-quick treat! Melts in your mouth

1. Preparing the Dates
Start by draining the soaked dates. Remove the pits and chop them into small pieces. These dried fruits are an excellent source of natural sugar and will provide the sweetness for your recipe without the need for refined sugars. Place the chopped dates in a large bowl.

2. Mixing the Dry and Wet Ingredients
Add the sweetener-based crushed biscuits to the dates, along with the cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, and the milk. The milk will moisten the mixture and give it a pleasant texture. Then, stir in the vegetable oil (you can use coconut oil for a subtle flavor that complements the other flavors). Mix well until you have a smooth, homogeneous dough.

Tip: If the dough seems too dry, add a little more milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the consistency is perfect.

3. Cooling and Forming the Balls
Once the mixture is well combined, place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up. This will make it easier to form the balls.

Tip: If the dough sticks to your hands, lightly oil them to prevent sticking.

Once chilled, lightly oil your hands and form small balls of dough. Each ball should be compact enough not to fall apart. Insert a hazelnut into the center of each ball for a delicious crunch. If necessary, reshape the balls around the hazelnut.

4. Refrigerating the Balls
After forming all the balls, return them to the refrigerator for another 40 minutes so they firm up and hold their shape when dipped in chocolate.
