1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce over the steak and stir to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water, then add to the skillet.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra tenderness, marinate the steak in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
Adjust honey and brown sugar to control sweetness.
Serve over rice or with vegetables for a complete meal.
