This is one of my husband’s favorite recipes, and he makes it often during football season. In fact, I’m surprised he doesn’t ask me to make it more often.

His mother always made them, and I don’t think I’d ever had sausage meatballs before I met her. I immediately realized how delicious they were, but when I discovered how easy they were, I was amazed.

To make these sausage meatballs, you only need a baking mix (like Bisquick or Pioneer), cheddar cheese, and your favorite ground sausage.
