Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) steak (such as sirloin or flank), thinly sliced

8 oz (225 g) pasta (penne or fusilli work well)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 red bell pepper, chopped

1 can (14 oz / 400 g) diced tomatoes with juice

2 cups (480 ml) beef broth

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
